This is an exciting opportunity for someone dedicated to social justice, community development, and advocacy, eager to make a tangible difference through proactive outreach and program development. Duties Engage with tenants regularly to understand their needs, concerns, and aspirations through outreach events, meetings, and one-on-one conversations. Develop and implement community programs that promote resident involvement, social cohesion, and overall well-being. Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate volunteers to support community initiatives and events. Lead public speaking engagements to communicate program goals, advocate for tenant rights, and foster community awareness. Manage social media platforms and marketing efforts to promote events, share success stories, and increase community participation. Collect data on program participation and community feedback to evaluate impact and inform future planning. Coordinate fundraising efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and engaging with potential donors or partners. Oversee administrative tasks related to program logistics, record keeping, scheduling, and reporting. Skills Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams or groups effectively. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently. Expertise in program development with a focus on social services or community engagement initiatives. Excellent project management skills to plan, execute, and evaluate multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of marketing strategies including social media management to reach broader audiences. Ability to collect and analyze data for program improvement using various tools or software. Experience in social work or public health fields is highly desirable for understanding community needs. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate others and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Skills in fundraising activities including proposal writing and donor engagement. Strong administrative skills for managing schedules, documentation, and reporting requirements. Experience in recruiting volunteers or staff for community programs or initiatives.
