Corporate Communications Summer Intern 2026 Brisbane, CA CareDx United States, California, Brisbane 8000 Marina Blvd (Show on map) Apr 07, 2026 CareDx, Inc. is a leading precision medicine solutions company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of clinically differentiated, high-value healthcare solutions for transplant patients and caregivers. CareDx offers products, testing services, and digital healthcare solutions along the pre- and post-transplant patient journey, and is the leading provider of genomics-based information for transplant patients. This summer internship offers hands-on experience in Corporate Communications, where you'll play a meaningful role in shaping how employees stay informed and connected. You'll support summer-long intranet content build and help produce company-wide town halls, gaining exposure to internal storytelling, leadership communications, and live event preparation. This is a great opportunity to build practical writing, organization, and project coordination skills while learning how communications support company culture and alignment. What You'll Learn & Work On Support intranet content creation, updates, and organization
Assist with planning and production of town halls and All Hands meetings
Draft and edit internal communications content under guidance
Organize presentation materials, agendas, and supporting documents
Capture action items, owners, and deadlines during meetings
Prepare presentations or status updates on project progress
Participating in team meetings, reviews, and working sessions
Assist with executive level slide preparation and summaries
Present final project outcomes to the Corporate Communications team at the end of the internship
Support additional tasks as needed to help the team meet its goals Success Metrics Clear, accurate, and complete documentation
Successful delivery of two functional microservices
High-quality, reliable unit test coverage
Effective collaboration and communication with team members
Positive feedback from stakeholders and mentors Tools & Skills Needed Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
SharePoint / intranet content management tools
Smartsheet or similar project tracking tools
Basic content editing, organization, and coordination skills Required Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree or recent graduate in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field
Strong interest in corporate communications or internal communications
Ability to work independently and manage a project timeline
Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
Basic proficiency with Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); familiarity with SharePoint or Smartsheet is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience with content creation, editing, or internal communications projects
Coursework in communications, writing, media studies, or organizational communications
Familiarity with intranet platforms or content management systems
Prior internship, campus leadership role, or project experience involving communications or events Learning Outcomes Hands on experience completing a full internal communications project lifecycle
Exposure to real world corporate communications tools, workflows, and processes
Mentorship from experienced communications professionals
Opportunities to present work and insights to stakeholders

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
