This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies for our diverse client portfolio, leading content creation initiatives and driving measurable engagement across all platforms. The Social Media Manager will report to the Director of Client Success and Senior Vice President of Strategy, while leading and mentoring our social media team. About You You are a strategic thinker with a creative edge, experienced in developing and executing social media strategies that drive business results. You excel in leading content creation efforts, analyzing performance data and optimizing campaigns for maximum impact. Your ability to manage multiple client accounts, mentor team members and stay ahead of digital trends makes you an invaluable leader. Role Overview The Social Media Manager will lead comprehensive social media strategies and content creation for multiple clients, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives. This includes strategic planning, team leadership, performance analysis and identifying growth opportunities across all social platforms. Key Responsibilities Lead social media strategy development and implementation for multiple real estate clients. Develop and execute monthly social media marketing plans that support overall client goals. Create comprehensive editorial content calendars for agency and client accounts. Oversee content creation efforts for organic social initiatives, ensuring brand alignment and campaign integration. Act as senior community manager for key client accounts, with support from the Social Media Coordinator. Lead creative and copy ad refreshes, utilizing data insights and research to formulate effective strategies. Strategically optimize social accounts to maximize visibility and engagement across all platforms. Analyze social media data and metrics to continuously refine and improve client strategies. Conduct competitive research and industry analysis to identify new opportunities and trends. Develop innovative social media promotions and engagement tactics for client growth. Mentor and collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator and broader digital media team. Research and implement emerging social media trends, tools and platform updates. Collaborate closely with creative, copy, video/animation, accounts and digital media teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field. 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content creation and team leadership. Expert-level proficiency across all major social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. Advanced experience with Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite and social media analytics platforms. Proficiency in Google Analytics and social media reporting tools. Strong strategic thinking and data analysis capabilities. Excellent copywriting, editing and content creation skills. Knowledge of paid social advertising and organic/paid integration strategies. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite. Must reside within commuting distance of Long Beach, CA, and work onsite five days a week. Exceptional leadership, time management and organizational skills. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset and passion for digital innovation. Advertising agency experience strongly preferred.
