- About the Role
- The Director of Federal Government Affairs will be a key member of MiniMed's U.
Location:
Washington, DC Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. + Lead the development and execution of MiniMed's federal government affairs strategy. + Partner with internal teams to align advocacy efforts with business objectives and drive strategic outcomes. + Represent MiniMed before federal policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, and patient/provider organizations. + Monitor and analyze legislative, regulatory, and political developments; provide timely insights and strategic recommendations. + Identify and mitigate policy, political, and reputational risks. + Collaborate across the Government Affairs function to support enterprise-wide U.S. strategies. + Ensure compliance with federal lobbying and ethics regulations. + Manage external consultants and contract lobbyists. + Travel as needed.- Minimum Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of government affairs experience, or 8+ years with an advanced degree. + 7+ years of experience managing people, programs, or projects.
