  • Part-time Seeking 3 Dedicated Support Professionals We are looking for three responsible, committed, and high-energy individuals to join to separately support two adults with autism.
We are seeking two separate people for a 2:1 support role and one person for a 1:1 support role. These 22-year-old men are non-speaking, utilize iPads to communicate, and thrive with dedicated mentorship.
THE ROLE
This position focuses on daily life skills, community integration, and behavioral support. You will work in both 2:1 and 1:1 settings to help them navigate their day with confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
Community Outings :
Accompanying them to engaging activities such as swimming, visiting local parks, and attending music sessions.
Life Skills & Independence:
Assisting with daily life skills and independent living tasks to foster autonomy.
Structured Support:
Maintaining a consistent routine and supporting them through both preferred and non-preferred activities.
Behavioral Coaching:
Providing patient redirection and support for OCD-related behaviors and autistic needs.
Communication Support:
Facilitating the use of their iPads for communication and providing necessary prompting.
Safety Awareness:
Ensuring their safety and well-being while exploring and engaging with the community.
The Ideal Candidate Personality:
You are patient, proactive, and have a positive mindset. You can provide structure while remaining an engaging and supportive mentor.
Experience:
You have a background working within the neurodivergent community, specifically with individuals who are non-speaking.
Commitment:
We are seeking individuals looking for a long-term professional relationship to provide stability and consistent growth.

You can offer consistent, compassionate care while maintaining the motivation to help clients engage in new and stimulating experiences.
