Our Values Respect | Belonging | Accountability | Transparency Department Foundation Administration Job Summary The Corporate Giving Officer will lead the rollout, activation, and expansion of the hospital's corporate giving strategy, building momentum and infrastructure. With an ambitious goal of growing corporate support, this role will drive strategic outreach, cultivate meaningful partnerships and strengthen the hospital's visibility among corporate audiences. This position requires a skilled communicator who can translate between the highly technical, clinical world of healthcare and the goals, timelines, and expectations of corporate partners. The ideal candidate is an upbeat, extroverted relationship‑builder who thrives in a complex, mission‑driven, publicly funded environment and loves connecting people, ideas and opportunities.
Essential Functions :
Strategy Rollout & Program Growth Lead the implementation of the hospital's multi‑year corporate giving strategy, focusing on building momentum, visibility, and internal alignment. Develop annual work plans and revenue goals that support the long‑term growth in corporate giving. Create scalable systems for partner cultivation, stewardship, recognition, and reporting to enable sustainable growth. Conduct strategic outreach to expand the corporate pipeline, focusing on mission‑aligned companies and sectors. (15%) Proposal Development & Impact Reporting Draft compelling proposals, sponsorship packages, and investment opportunities aligned with hospital programs and community health priorities. Manage reporting and stewardship deliverables to ensure partners receive timely, high‑quality updates. Work with clinical and program staff to gather relevant data, outcomes, and stories. (25%) Integration with Events, Volunteerism & Communications Collaborate with Events, Volunteer Services, and Communications teams to create seamless, engaging corporate experiences. Integrate corporate giving opportunities into fundraising events, employee volunteer programs, and public visibility campaigns. Partner with Communications to develop messaging and content that highlights corporate impact and hospital-community partnerships. (20%) Communication, Translation & Partner Engagement Serve as a bridge between internal healthcare professionals and external partners—translating clinical, operational, and community health initiatives into compelling, accessible narratives for corporate audiences. Confidently navigate the complex processes, policies, and constraints of a large, publicly funded hospital while maintaining clarity, momentum, and responsiveness with external partners. Represent the hospital with a polished, energetic, and relationship‑focused presence at meetings, events, site visits, and corporate engagement activities. Build strong, authentic relationships with corporate leaders, CSR teams, employee engagement offices, and sponsorship decision‑makers. (20%) Internal Collaboration & Organizational Navigation- Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to identify opportunities for corporate investment. Navigate internal systems—finance, compliance, contracting, purchasing—to ensure smooth coordination. Help colleagues understand corporate partner expectations and translate complex information into action steps. (10%) Data, Tracking & Evaluation Maintain accurate records in the CRM and produce updates, dashboards, and pipeline forecasts. Use data to evaluate program performance and identify opportunities for growth. (10%)Education :
Bachelor's Degree required.Work Experience :
4-6 years experience in corporate giving, corporate social responsibility, community impact, philanthropy, or nonprofit fundraising required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Strong track record of managing partnerships or securing corporate support. Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate complex information Comfortable navigating large, complex organizations.
