The Role:
As our Chief Advancement Officer and CNCC Foundation Director, you will drive the development and fundraising initiatives that propel our institution forward. Your leadership will be crucial in cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, alumni, and community partners, enabling us to achieve our mission and support our students.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support, including major gifts, grants, and estate planning initiatives.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, alumni, volunteers, and community leaders to maximize engagement and support.
  • Oversee donor database management using CRM software (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) ensuring accurate data practices.
  • Lead proposal writing for grants and major solicitations, managing submissions and reporting requirements effectively.
  • Plan and execute impactful fundraising events, from galas to community outreach programs.
  • Strengthen our digital marketing efforts across various platforms to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote CNCC's mission through innovative marketing strategies.
  • Manage budgeting for development activities, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and compliance.
  • Drive volunteer management efforts, engaging the community in our fundraising events.
Who You Are:
  • Proven track record in nonprofit management or higher education with successful fundraising campaigns.
  • Proficient in CRM software, digital marketing tools, and social media management.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, emphasizing written proposals and public relations.
  • Experienced in event planning and budgeting for nonprofit operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
