Description The Campaign Manager is responsible for making sure the day-to-day operations of Oberlander 2026, Jill Oberlander's campaign for Connecticut State Senate, run smoothly. The Campaign Manager will oversee fundraising, field operations, communications, and more. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing the candidate's time and schedule to ensure she uses her time most effectively and efficiently. Working with the candidate, kitchen cabinet, and consultant(s) to keep all parties focused, including scheduling weekly meetings and ensuring they run effectively. Managing the fundraising operation to hit campaign goals. Overseeing the political outreach to key activist groups, unions, and elected officials. Working closely with the field director to hit voter contact goals. Managing the communications operation to ensure timely news coverage and targeting earned media opportunities. Recruiting and managing campaign interns and other volunteers, and training them to take on campaign roles. Requirements Applicants that apply should have the following experience: Minimum of two cycles of experience on political campaigns. Proficiency in basic campaign technology including Excel, VAN, NGP, and email programs. Writing press releases, advisories, and campaign emails. Minimum of one cycle managing staff or interns.
