Job Description

Firm Overview A quantitative hedge fund in Connecticut, that has an AUM of under $5B, is expanding and looking for IR talent. This close-knit firm serves some of the world's most prestigious intuitions and was founded over 10 years ago. They are looking to hire an Investor Relations Associate, who will sit on their lean and diverse IR team. This position will be in their Connecticut office 5 days a week. Responsibilities This associate will report directly to the head of the team and will work closely with senior leadership across investor relations, client strategy, operations and investments. They will focus on fundraising and investor relations engagement. This position offers strong upwards mobility, as the associate will have the opportunity to lead meetings, build relationships with investors, and contribute to the firm's strong reputation. Day to day responsibilities include preparing DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, marketing materials, and any ad hoc requests, as well as conducting market research to assist in fundraising strategies. This individual will collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in data and will have control over the CRM database. This position will also act as a support seat to the broader IR team with capital raising efforts, investor relations, and client service. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, or investment consulting Exceptional analytical and Excel skills Ability to comprehend and interpret large datasets, market trends, and investment strategies Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders PowerPoint and presentation skills to create effective materials Familiarity with CRM tools (preferably Dynamo) Highly organized and able to work on numerous tasks simultaneously Compensation Expected base salary $120,000-$150,000 Competitive benefits package
