Marketing and Communications Manager Reports to: Director of Membership and Communications Job Description Fiddlesticks Country Club is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager. This position is critically important to the Club's overall success in building and strengthening relationships with our members and staff. The Marketing and Communications Manager works closely and collaborates with all of the Club's Department heads to ensure information and ideas are presented clearly, consistently, and creatively. Fiddlesticks Country Club is one of Southwest Florida's premier private clubs. The Club is nearing completion of the Long Mean Golf Course Renovation and is about to commence a complete renovation and reimagination of our Cabana, Clubhouse, and Gatehouse. The Fiddlesticks community is ideally situated in Fort Myers, twelve miles from the Gulf of America, and twelve minutes from the RSW International Airport. Key Job Responsibilities Manage all Club communications, including weekly newsletters, email campaigns, event promotions, announcements, and leadership messaging. Manage and maintain the Club's website, ClubEssentials app, and digital communication platforms. Publish and update event registrations, menus, announcements, calendars, and Club information. Develop and implement high-quality communication strategies that increase member engagement and participation. Track social media engagement and analytics to inform content strategy and drive digital growth. Curate, edit, and publish The Piper monthly newsletter, highlighting upcoming events, club news, and member spotlights. Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual presentation across all platforms. Write, edit, proofread, and distribute Club communications and marketing materials. Coordinate communication efforts between all Club departments. Answer the phone, respond to e-mails and inquiries. Possess exceptional customer service skills and a courteous, and friendly personality. Assist members with usernames and passwords; help troubleshoot issues and provide basic "tech support". Facilitate and organize member dining and event reservations. Create and issue guest passes for member's guests in accordance with rules and regulations. Be familiar with the Club's Bylaws and Community documents, Membership Rules and Regulations. Must be collaborative, a team player, and well rounded, ready to assist when needed. Support all aspects of member, guest, and employee interactions with a positive, can-do attitude. Performs other duties required by the Director of Membership and Communications. Experience 3+ years in communications and/or marketing. Prior experience in private clubs, hospitality, or luxury resorts/hotels is a plus. Skills Strong and effective writing skills, editing, organization, detail oriented, good listener. Content management systems, Canva, and social media; experience with Jonas/Clubessential is a plus. A confident communicator who is collaborative, can work well with others, is a self-starter with a good sense of humor, will thrive and have fun in this role. Schedule/Availability Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, and Club events.
Educational Requirements Minimum:
Associate's Degree in
English, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or Accounting Preferred:
