Job Description

Position Overview EDGE Communications LLC is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and politically engaged Campaign Coordinator to support multiple political campaigns and consulting projects across Miami-Dade County. The Campaign Coordinator will work directly with campaign managers, directors, and senior consultants to help execute campaign strategy, coordinate client projects, manage communications, oversee operational logistics, and ensure successful project delivery. This role is ideal for someone interested in building a career in political consulting, campaign management, public affairs, communications, or government relations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where deadlines matter.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Coordination & Project Management Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and client communications across multiple active projects. Assist with the day-to-day management and execution of political campaigns and consulting engagements. Track project milestones and ensure deadlines are met. Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, presentations, and campaign activities. Prepare agendas, briefing materials, reports, and client updates. Provide direct support to campaign managers, directors, and senior consultants in the planning, implementation, and execution of political campaigns, public affairs initiatives, and client projects. Maintain internal project management systems and campaign records. Assist in the development and execution of campaign plans, communications strategies, and voter outreach programs. Communications & Client Support Draft emails, memos, presentations, campaign materials, and other written communications. Assist with social media content development and digital communications efforts. Review and proofread campaign materials for accuracy and consistency. Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, vendors, elected officials, community leaders, and stakeholders. Coordinate client meetings and assist with ongoing account management. Support media relations and public communications efforts as needed. Data, Research & Reporting Maintain campaign databases, contact records, and project files. Assist with voter file management, targeting, and data analysis projects. Conduct political, demographic, and community research to support campaign strategy. Generate reports on campaign performance, project progress, and outreach efforts. Prepare briefing documents, research memos, and background materials for clients and consultants. Support campaign compliance and administrative recordkeeping requirements. Administrative & Operational Support Coordinate vendors, consultants, and campaign partners. Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking. Organize campaign materials and operational logistics. Support office operations and special projects as assigned. Ensure all projects are executed efficiently and in accordance with client expectations and firm standards. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant campaign, political, communications, nonprofit, government, or administrative experience will be considered. Strong interest in politics, government, public affairs, communications, or community engagement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication platforms. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders. Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Miami-Dade County when needed. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends during election cycles or major client projects. Preferred Previous campaign, political, government, advocacy, communications, or public affairs experience. Experience with political technology platforms such as VAN, PDI, Scale to Win, or similar tools. Familiarity with political communications, digital media, or public affairs campaigns.
