Lifestyle Director Job Description

- Pulte The Lifestyle Director must be responsible, proactive, and customer service minded.
The Lifestyle Director will create, plan, and implement various community activities, events, and wellness initiatives designed to enhance the overall lifestyle experience of residents in an active adult community, while also supporting new development efforts and collaborating with the Sales Team to promote community engagement and growth. Must possess superior customer service skills, creativity, and a passion for resident engagement, active living, and overall well-being. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work closely with homeowners, suppliers, volunteer committee members, and team members. Able to remain calm under pressure and be solutions oriented. Strong computer & Social Media skills are essential. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, website management, Constant Contact, Outlook, and Microsoft Publisher. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus. MUST be detail-oriented with superior documentation and organizational skills. Create and organize themed events, activities, and wellness programs at the clubhouse and throughout the community. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early evenings and weekends as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with staff, committees, and homeowners. Answer incoming calls, research, and resolve customer issues. Present a professional image at all times. Community Engagement & Programming Develop creative ideas for high-quality community events and wellness-focused programming designed to encourage resident interaction, social connection, and engagement. Create and maintain a comprehensive events and wellness calendar as outlined by the Client and General Manager. Manage detailed task lists for all events and programs to ensure high-quality execution. Promote events through effective communication and marketing strategies to drive participation. Coordinate volunteers and collaborate with on-site staff for successful program delivery. Oversee all event logistics including setup, vendors, supplies, and safety considerations. Health & Wellness Programming (Active Adult Focus) Develop and implement wellness programs that support overall quality of life for residents. Coordinate fitness offerings such as yoga, chair yoga, water aerobics, walking clubs, stretching, balance, and fall-prevention classes. Foster social wellness by creating programs that reduce isolation and promote meaningful connections among residents. Partner with local healthcare providers, fitness professionals, and wellness experts to deliver safe and engaging programming. Ensure all programs are accessible and inclusive, accommodating varying mobility levels and physical abilities. Promote wellness participation through targeted communication and encouragement of new residents. Monitor participation and gather feedback to continuously improve offerings and align with resident interests. Ensure all wellness activities comply with safety standards, liability requirements, and company policies. New Development & Sales Team Collaboration Partner closely with the Sales Team and Developer/Builder to support community growth, brand positioning, and overall resident experience. Assist in showcasing the community lifestyle by planning and executing events that support prospective buyer engagement and conversion. Collaborate with Sales to create and deliver lifestyle presentations, tours, and experiences that highlight community amenities, programming, and wellness offerings. Participate in grand openings, model events, VIP tours, and other sales-driven initiatives. Serve as a lifestyle ambassador, representing the community's culture and programming to prospective homeowners. Provide input to Sales and Marketing teams regarding resident interests, trends, and programming preferences to refine messaging and positioning. Support onboarding of new residents by creating welcoming experiences that reinforce purchase decisions and encourage early engagement. Coordinate with Sales and Marketing on promotional materials, calendars, and communications that highlight lifestyle and wellness offerings. Build relationships with prospective and new residents to foster early connection and long-term engagement. Operations & Administration Assist in managing event and wellness budgets to ensure cost-effective programming. Build partnerships with local businesses and service providers for sponsorships and programming support. Prepare and distribute a monthly community newsletter. Maintain vendor lists and manage contracts in compliance with company policies. Assist in training staff in event and program execution. Collaborate with corporate teams to ensure compliance with insurance and safety requirements. Evaluate program success and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Support operational needs as required. Participate in meetings and maintain knowledge of policies and procedures. Follow all safety protocols and company policies. Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies 3-5 years resort lifestyle community with wellness program Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills.
