Director of Community Relations Tradition, Port St. Lucie, FL In Tradition, community is more than proximity, it's a thoughtfully curated lifestyle. We are seeking a polished, service-driven Director of Community Relations to lead the vision, design, and delivery of exceptional resident experiences. This role is ideal for a hospitality-minded professional who understands that every interaction, event, and communication contributes to a larger sense of place. You will serve as the steward of the community's social fabric, creating moments that are welcoming, memorable, and reflective of Tradition's elevated brand. Position Overview The Director of Community Relations is responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive lifestyle program that enhances resident engagement, strengthens community identity, and upholds the highest standards of hospitality. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic insight and thoughtful execution. The ideal candidate brings a refined approach to service, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to anticipate and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities Curate and execute a year-round calendar of lifestyle programming that reflects the character and aspirations of the Tradition community Evaluate resident demographics, preferences, and engagement trends to continuously refine offerings Develop and oversee the annual lifestyle budget, ensuring thoughtful allocation of resources and alignment with strategic priorities Plan and manage all aspects of events and programs, including logistics, vendor coordination, guest experience, and on-site execution Establish and nurture meaningful partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and service providers Lead all lifestyle communications, including newsletters, social media, and branded materials, ensuring consistency in tone and presentation Identify opportunities to enhance and activate community spaces in ways that elevate the resident experience Source and manage high-quality vendors, instructors, and entertainment aligned with brand standards Provide leadership and oversight to the Lifestyle Manager and VIP programming initiatives Contribute to broader community initiatives and special projects as needed Qualifications 8+ years of experience in hospitality, lifestyle programming, event management, or community relations Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, well-executed events and experiences Strong sense of hospitality, presentation, and guest experience Excellent communication skills with a professional and engaging presence Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities with composure and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and digital communication platforms Flexibility to support evening and weekend events as required Additional Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must successfully complete a background and drug screening Why Join Tradition Opportunity to contribute to a premier master-planned community known for its quality of life and resident experience A role that blends creativity, hospitality, and leadership in a meaningful way Supportive leadership and a collaborative team environment The ability to shape experiences that leave a lasting impression on residents and guests alike Benefits Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with company match PTO, 8 paid holidays and 2 paid floating holidays Professional development Reports to:
