The Director of Marketing Communications is responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing initiatives that support the U.S. business. This leadership role oversees marketing communications, digital marketing, events, and customer education. This position requires strong collaboration skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to drive impactful marketing initiatives across multiple channels. DaytoDay Functions Lead MarCom, Digital Marketing, Events, and Customer Education functions. Develop and deliver the annual marketing communications plan aligned to business strategies; modify as needed throughout the year. Manage execution of integrated marketing plans across digital channels, conferences, customer education, and the sales force. Create, execute, and track effective marketing campaigns. Develop and oversee conference strategy and execution, including national and regional events. Build and manage the customer education plan, including project management, planning, and metric tracking. Oversee content development projects. Serve as the liaison between the creative team, external agencies, and internal stakeholders. Stay current on digital and marketing trends. Provide coaching, leadership, and direction to direct reports. Track budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics. Participate in any reasonable work activities as assigned by management. Quality System Responsibilities Build quality into all work through compliance with quality requirements. Ensure compliance with FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (as applicable). Maintain education and understanding of U.S. and global medical device regulations. Attend required Quality & Compliance training. Promote a "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" by consistently meeting and exceeding requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Advertising, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Digital marketing strategy experience required. Healthcare/medical device industry experience strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). Web experience helpful. Advanced to intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
