Standard $ Paid Full Time Part Time Description Sales/Marketing intern for the Modular Housing Industry at a local retail level. Sherlock Homes has been in business for 30 years and is the most established and trusted Manufactured Home retailer in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. The office has 2 primary Sales people and is looking for a person to work as support staff and help with sales, site management, advertising, and customer presentations. We have combined sales experience of over 75 years (in our office) and have what we believe to be the best branded company name and image within our industry. The manufactured home industry is one of the industries that has been hit hardest and has "shrunk" due to past economic changes and today is mostly filled with long time "seasoned" professionals and has recently been expanding at record levels..., What we need (nationwide) is fresh people, with fresh ideas, willing to work relentlessly to prove themselves! This internship is not just a job. It is watched by many industry leaders and allows you to create networking opportunities throughout the industry providing a solid springboard for a high paying career in sales, marketing and/or management to individuals that are highly motivated and creative. Responsibilities Primarily to work as "support staff" for existing sales and site management teams to help them work more efficient with existing Clients. Talk to customers and give home tours, feature/benefit presentations, help to qualify customers, etc. Help in the future marketing material, such as direct mail, possible online campaigns, road side marketing, etc. 1/2 hour daily on sales training via our in-house training library. Other undefined duties...Since we are always expanding our intern program other duties will arise as we find out capabilities and strong points of each individual intern. Qualifications We are looking for an intern that is ideally looking to pursue a Sales & Marketing or Business career path (but not mandatory).
