Job Description

Lead all in‑store customer communication activations, including circular production, promotional signage, store events, grand openings, and community engagement initiatives. Support digital content creation, social scheduling, and customer engagement across platforms as needed. Partner with Merchandising, Creative Services, and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate promotional execution, consistent brand communication, and high‑quality marketing materials. Maintain excellence in operational detail, content accuracy, and in‑store communication delivery while demonstrating Ruler's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum
  • 2+ years of hands ‑ on experience in digital marketing and communications (email, SMS, website, app, social media)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong workflow and project management skills with ability to balance multiple deadlines
  • Experience using digital/social communication platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite, Meta tools, Google, etc. Any loyalty or merchandising experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Systems and software knowledge
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems Desired
  • Experience with general communications, document creation, or coordinating workflow tasks
  • Educational background in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent administrative experience
  • Plan, develop, and manage in‑store event activations including Grand Openings, community events, local partnerships, and special store activities.
  • Develop event marketing materials including circulars, signage, and printed pieces, coordinate production, delivery, and installation.
  • Partner with Merchandising and cross‑functional teams to align on event goals, timelines, promotional details, and execution expectations.
  • Coordinate community engagement initiatives with marketing team store leadership, and community partners (e.g., food banks) to support donations, attendance, and event participation.
  • Lead execution of ceremonial activities such as ribbon cuttings, including logistics, scheduling, participant coordination, and script preparation.
  • Ensure customer inquiries receive timely responses through all platforms.
  • Analyze customer feedback trends from email and social channels to identify insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Support department printing and mailing needs, ensuring timely delivery and accurate content.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising to create, print, deliver, and communicate installation instructions for all promotional sign kits.
  • Request digital versions of promotional assets for use in social and digital communications.
  • Maintain organized signage storage, inventory tracking, and replenishment schedules.
