Full Job Description Job Function Statement:
(overall job purpose and benefit to the operation) The Family Engagement Specialist manages a variety of projects that are designed to implement an integrated multifaceted fatherhood/male and community involvement service delivery system which will be a model of excellence across all service territories. This position will work with the family engagement implementation team to provide a coordinated approach for family engagement , community involvement, and development. This position will provide encouragement to family services staff and families to ensure two generational approach to learning and strengthening parent-child relationship building opportunities. Bachelor's degree in human services field or similar field is required. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience with two (2) years of working on male initiatives is required. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and internet/e-communications are highly preferred.
