Job Description

Position Summary:
Summary:
The Member Relations & Communication Manager is to perform as a liaison with Club Membership, oversees membership services, website governance and seasonal staff, while maintaining essential administrative responsibilities with the Club Manager.
Essential Functions:
Job Duties:
Administrative General filing, answering member questions via phones and email, correspondence and record keeping. Assist members and prospective members who walk into membership office. Provide information about the club, print membership cards, etc. New Members Input new member information into databases. Maintain active and accurate files on membership. Manage and supply accounting documents on membership. Create an orientation packet for new members Member Events Assist in the planning, promoting, and organization of member events. Track all reservations for events Confirm registration with members and appropriate staff. Attend major events assisting in greeting guests and checking them in. Unaccompanied Guest (Renters) Registration June - August guest registration at the membership desk. Coordinate and maintain records of all guest registration forms with members. Print guest cards and create packets with resort information for guests pick up. Parking Stickers Coordinate annual parking pass applications, track applications on a spreadsheet and distribute stickers to members. Seasonal Staff Supervision Assist in hiring seasonal staff to work at membership desk. Duties for this staff for the summer are to be determined. Assist in training, setting schedule and general oversight of seasonal staff. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company. Able to apply and express creative problem solving to this dynamic environment. Supports other departments as needed. Supports hotel guests as needed. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
Physical Standards:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, stand, push, pull, walk, drive and climb stairs.
Uniform Requirements:
Uniform must consist of resort professional attire including issued nametag.
Qualification Requirements:
Must have a four-year degree in Hospitality, Recreation Management or a related field. Must have experience in supervision of simultaneous events. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Must be functionally literate with verbal and written communication skills. Must have a positive, friendly, outgoing attitude and be a leader.
Language Skills:
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English.
Working Environment:
Will be exposed to all weather conditions and direct sunlight for long periods of time. This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time
