Social Media & Communications Manager Karen's School of Dance Highland, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $18 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Graphic design Canva Organizational skills Facebook Instagram Full Job Description Karen's School of Dance is looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Social Media & Communications Manager to join our team! We are seeking someone who can help grow and maintain our online presence across our website, Facebook, and Instagram while also helping communicate important information to our dance families through studio emails and announcements.
Responsibilities:
Create and schedule engaging social media content Manage and grow our Facebook and Instagram accounts Update and maintain studio website content Capture photos/videos at classes, events, competitions, and recitals Create promotional graphics, reels, stories, and posts Send informational and promotional emails to dance families and students Help promote studio events, registration, camps, auditions, and performances Engage with followers and maintain a positive online presence Work closely with studio staff to highlight dancers, classes, and accomplishments Assist with studio communication and organization
Qualifications:
Experience with social media management preferred Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and current social media trends Comfortable taking/editing photos and videos Basic graphic design skills (Canva experience is a plus) Strong written communication and organizational skills Must be dependable, self-motivated, and creative Dance knowledge or experience in the dance industry is a bonus!
