Job Description

Position Details This is an entry-level position focused on providing quality, youth-centered services that support the healthy development and overall well-being of youth. Services are provided in schools and other community settings and include outreach, group facilitation, program development, and evaluation, including data management. Position will also involve project management and support of community wide system based projects. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma-informed care, hope, and evidence-based research. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes, and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position/organization. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Social work or related field Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required Knowledge and understanding of Newaygo County community resources Experiences leading groups Certified prevention specialist or willingness to achieve certification required
