Job Description

Job Summary:
Facilitates and implements the annual Employee Giving campaign to include the kick-off and then weekly management and presentations at orientation. Manages 50+ employee volunteers who aid in the execution of the Employee Giving Campaign. Accurately maintains donor and individual account and gift information in a timely manner, ensuring daily controls and regulatory requirements are met. Works with the Executive Director in planning other special events to include Win This Car, the Annual Golf Tournament, Gold Leaf Celebration, and the Annual Giving Campaign. Involved in planning, organizing and implementing Foundation Development programs. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in all aspects of the position, facilitating the Foundation in daily tasks, including but not limited to: meeting preparation, scheduling and correspondence. Manages social media platforms in conjunction with the Marketing Department. Answers and responds to all incoming telephone calls in an appropriate and timely manner. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, visitors, volunteers and board members of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Performance Expectations Works with the Executive Director in managing all development activities. Successful implementation of Employee Giving Campaign. Effective use and oversight of donor management software and financial reconciliation. Communicate effectively.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Communication is preferred.
Work Experience:
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Constant Contact, Canva, Donor Perfect, Meta Business Suite) preferred. Experience working successfully in a deadline-driven environment is required. Independent self-starter (capable of initiating projects both independently and as part of a team) is required. Must have excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects. Ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate a variety of data is required. Prefer three years of experience in either development office operations or public relations.

Ability to work in an active, rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment.
