Job Description

The Community Engagement Manager plays a key role in advancing the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley by supporting communications, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships. This position manages the organization's social media presence, helps deliver an exceptional volunteer experience, and supports programs and partnerships that connect the community to our work. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about creating meaningful engagement that supports families with seriously ill or injured children.
Core Accountabilities:
Coordinate Social Media Presence:
Coordinate and manage a dynamic and mission-centered Social Media presence and actively manage RMHC-RRV's online reputation. Develop a strategy and content calendar that best supports the organization's marketing and fundraising goals. Administer budget and implement paid advertising on social media. Create and implement social media posts with a balance of information, inspiration, engagement, mediums, and calls to action. Serve as community manager for all
RMHC RRV
social media sites and manage interactions with constituents by timely responding and engaging with social media activity. Produce monthly e-newsletter and additional emails as needed. Assist with website Assist with print newsletter as needed. Manage online wish lists and social posts for most-needed items in conjunction with the Director of Family Services. Track, analyze and optimize social media data to best meet strategic objectives Seek out trends, research, education and training related to PR and social media
Support Volunteer Engagement:
Serve as back-up for volunteer inquiries and volunteer support on-site. Recruit volunteers, utilizing awareness events (booths, speaking, and online) as needed. Provide tours as needed. Thank volunteers in a genuine and timely fashion. Plan and execute volunteer recognition events for National Volunteer week (April) and Thanksgiving (Nov.) in conjunction with Mission Support Specialist - Operations. Manage day-of volunteers at
RMHC-RRV
events.
Manage the Family Room program:
Coordinate with hospital partners to ensure adherence to Service Provider Agreement, coordinate process changes, and maintain strong partner relationship. Recruit, train and schedule volunteers to staff the Family Room. Ensure Family Room is stocked for family use. Manage usage data for the Family Room program. Compile and report data as needed.
Oversee McDonald's Round-Up Program:
Manage the execution of the McDonald's Round-Up program. This includes tracking of Round-Up funds and incentive benchmarks, creation and distribution of quarterly store and management incentives, and creation of distribution of marketing materials. Work closely with McDonald's Owner/Operators and General Managers regarding Round-Up Program through regular communication. Coordinate Giving Tree program with McDonalds including getting ornaments to the restaurants, collection of items, and thanking stores for their participation in coordination with Mission Support Specialist - Operations. Assist Development Director with community engagement including: Pop tab collection and presentations Vendor booths and fairs School group tours Mission presentations Third party fundraising events Other events as needed. Complete other tasks as assigned.

Pay:
$48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
