This role supports a multi-use space that includes a fitness center, café, and inclusive workforce development programming. This is a unique opportunity that combines front-facing member services with marketing, communications, and community outreach. It is ideal for an energetic, community-minded professional eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Creativity and initiative in developing social media content, promotional materials, and grassroots marketing efforts. Comfort working in a fast-paced, front-facing environment while balancing multiple priorities. Ability to manage, train, and schedule a small staff team and volunteers. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improved member retention. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Member Engagement Create a welcoming member experience that encourages ongoing participation and connection. Serve as a front-facing presence at the community center, supporting daily member services including check-ins, tours, and general inquiries. Build and maintain positive relationships with members, families, and community partners. Manage and utilize the membership CRM platform to execute communications related to fitness center events, schedules, and engagement initiatives, with a focus on member retention and re-engagement. Collaborate with the General Manager to implement membership engagement initiatives, including fitness center incentives, events, and retention-focused campaigns. Community Outreach Serve as a community liaison for all community center programs. Represent the community center at local events and outreach opportunities to build awareness within the surrounding community. Set up and staff tabling at community events, including relevant materials and displays. Foster partnerships with local businesses, schools, and organizations to strengthen community integration and identify cross-promotion opportunities. Marketing & Communications Develop and manage the community center's social media presence. Create and distribute promotional materials and communications (e.g., flyers) to highlight community center programs, events, and offerings. Define target audiences and support the development of campaigns to build awareness and drive participation and membership. Capture and share human-interest stories that highlight programs, participants, and community impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
Background or demonstrated interest in marketing, communications, social media, community engagement, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a front-facing, customer service-oriented environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a dynamic environment. Creative, self-motivated, and community-oriented with the ability to take initiative. Experience creating and managing social media content, including use of content creation tools (e.g., Canva). Passion for the mission of REED Autism Services and a commitment to inclusive community-building. Experience with nonprofits, fitness centers, cafés, or community spaces is a plus, but not required.
Schedule:
This role is primarily daytime, with some evening and weekend hours required to support community center activities.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
