//www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine We are searching for the best talent for the Global Medical Affairs Clinical Leader, Hematology. This position provides strategic, portfolio-level clinical leadership across the J&J hematology pipeline, with primary accountability for worldwide evidence generation programs and other evidence generation under the remit of global medical affairs.The role is designed to:
Address the growing complexity and scale of evidence generation and clinical development in hematology Ensure consistent, high-quality clinical and scientific stewardship across multiple indications and studies (including interventional and non-interventional research) Provide a consistent reporting structure for GMA Study Responsible Physicians (SRPs), who will report directly to the Global Medical Affairs Clinical Leader, Hematology This position serves as a senior clinical leader who shapes evidence generation strategy, oversees execution of global evidence generation plans, and enables cross-program alignment to maximize scientific, regulatory, and patient impact. The role complements compound-level leadership by providing portfolio oversight and clinical integration across hematology programs including multiple myeloma, lymphoma, and myeloid malignancies. The GMA Clinical Leader will supervise all study responsible physicians (SRPs) across the hematology portfolio and will work in close partnership with VP of GMAF, Hematology, the Global Head for Evidence Generation & Study Execution, MAF Delivery Unit, Head of GMA Strategic Innovation, asset GMALs, Regional MAF Leads, and R D. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Portfolio Evidence Generation Strategy and Vision World Wide Integrated Evidence Generation Planning Study Implementation and Execution Team leadership and people development External engagement Qualifications MD (or equivalent) with formal training in oncology/hematology; board certification or eligibility required. Extensive experience in oncology/hematology medical affairs, including with demonstrated leadership across global programs and evidence generation activities. Served as study responsible physician in R D or medical affairs Proven ability to operate effectively in senior matrix leadership roles, influencing strategy across functions and levels. Strong track record of scientific credibility, strategic thinking, and external engagement. High-performing and energetic individual who provides strong leadership and serves as a role model for the team. Outstanding scientific knowledge applicable to oncology clinical research and the highest personal and ethical standards Exceptional communication skills and effective leadership to lead and drive teams and program/programs is a must The anticipated base pay range for this position is $175,000- 300,000.
