  • SOURCING STRATEGY & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
  • + Own the commercial strategy for new product launches within assigned brands, ensuring alignment to brand priorities, category strategies, and enterprise sourcing frameworks.
+ Guide supplier selection decisions by balancing cost, capability, quality, sustainability, regionalization, and lifecycle considerations to optimize total value. + Shape and validate cost feasibility for innovation and new launches in partnership with Brand Finance, Packaging, and Category teams. + Provide leadership oversight of RFQ and supplier recommendation processes across the portfolio as well as directly managing and driving specific launches - ensuring disciplined evaluation and competitive outcomes. + Identify supplier-related risks and ensure mitigation plans are in place; escalate material risks as required. + Maintain awareness of supplier performance and market dynamics to inform future sourcing strategies.
  • BRAND PARTNERSHIP & LAUNCH EXECUTION
  • + Act as the primary procurement voice in brand forums (e.
g., PPD, Program Reviews, Value Analysis discussions, ETC). + Own cost accountability from feasibility through final award for new product launches, ensuring accuracy and alignment to brand COGS targets. + Partner cross-functionally to ensure launch readiness, including alignment on timelines, supply continuity, and commercialization milestones. + Oversee postlaunch performance at a strategic level, ensuring pricing, standard costing, and lifecycle strategies remain aligned to brand financial objectives. + Monitor key financial indicators (e.g., PPV trends) and intervene when leadership action is required.
  • VALUE CREATION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • + Identify, prioritize, and lead value creation initiatives supporting margin accretion and long-term brand health.
+ Ensure value engineering and cost optimization opportunities are embedded into launch and lifecycle plans. + Champion continuous improvement in commercial processes, governance, and ways of working. + Partner with Legal to ensure contracting strategies balance value creation, risk mitigation, and compliance
  • Qualifications
  • + Strong commercial, negotiation, and financial acumen; ability to develop/deliver business cases to leadership + Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop people + Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional and senior stakeholders + Quick learner with the ability to develop subject matter expertise in niche brand categories aligned with strategy + Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and adaptable to various technologies (eg SAP, digital sourcing tools etc) + Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills + Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership + Ability to drive and influence business decisions to align with Organizational Objectives + Independently represent Brand GSM in key Brand meetings i.
e. NPD/PPD, Program Review, VA, Gate meetings etc + Cross Functional/Multi Brand experience in Supply Chain with a demonstrated understanding of Business Flow and Organizational objectives.
