At Stellantis, we are looking for a seasoned communications professional to lead strategic storytelling and brand engagement across the East Region, based in New York City. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of media, culture, and innovation—bringing together broadcast communications, lifestyle media, and creator partnerships to elevate our brand presence. You'll play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up locally, regionally, and nationally through compelling content, media relations, and high-impact events. As the East Region Communications Manager, you'll oversee regional brand activations, manage relationships with automotive press associations, and collaborate with internal teams to support business priorities. You'll be responsible for developing and executing integrated communications strategies that resonate with diverse audiences—from media to influencers and consumers. Develop and execute integrated communications plans that support regional business priorities and enhance brand reputation Support national broadcast communications with strong relationships to secure corporate, brand and product segments as needed Lead communications and coordination of regional fleet, including launches, updates, and operational storytelling Build and maintain strong relationships with regional automotive press associations Identify and cultivate relationships with lifestyle media and content creators to expand brand reach and relevance across diverse audiences Support product and brand storytelling efforts to extend news-making moments between reveal and launch periods Manage media relations and local PR efforts, including proactive storytelling and reactive issues management Monitor industry trends and competitive activity Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field 7+ years of experience in communications, preferably in a regional or field-based role for automotive or lifestyle/travel sectors, with established media relationships Must be curious, proactive and performance driven, with the ability to work autonomously, prioritize and work under pressure Experience designing and executing multiple simultaneous strategic external communications plans and programs that drive awareness, engagement, and brand credibility Expert relationship builder that can confidently engage with media, analysts, and senior internal stakeholders to represent and communicate complex product, corporate and brand stories Experience managing lifestyle media and creator/influencer relations Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and platforms that engage multiple audiences Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization while exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality Familiarity with fleet operations or automotive industry communications Agency experience is a plus Benefits Salaried Employee Benefits (US, Non-Represented) Health & Wellbeing Comprehensive coverages encompassing the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and overall Wellbeing of our employees, including short- and long-term disability.
