Job Description
Communications Manager
Hybrid Position Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging
Coordinate activities with contracted government relations firm
Coordinate videography and photo opportunities
Draft and distribute press releases to media outlets; Maintain relationships with media contacts and respond to inquiries
Coordinate and schedule interviews with company representatives, clients, partners, and more
Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings
Create content for company website, social media platforms, and newsletters
Support internal communication efforts, including employee newsletters and announcements
Create content for annual impact report, presentations, and more
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields required.
4 or more years of experience, preferred.
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in all communications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
Familiarity with public relations practices and principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of AP Style guidelines is a plus
Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
