Director of Youth and Cultural Partnerships

Sam Diego Events is expanding its reach into the vibrant world of youth and cultural celebrations, including quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, sweet 16s, and other important rites of passage. We're seeking a passionate, business-savvy Director of Youth and Cultural Partnerships to build strategic relationships with families, community organizations, and cultural institutions. This commission-based role is focused on business development through authentic community engagement and event partnerships. You'll be the primary connector between Sam Diego Events and the networks that celebrate these milestone moments, driving new bookings and expanding our presence in this thriving market.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Development Build and nurture relationships with families, cultural organizations, event planners, and community leaders involved in youth milestone celebrations such as quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, sweet 16s, and more Secure partnerships and agreements that lead to event bookings and ongoing collaborations Act as a trusted representative of Sam Diego Events within diverse cultural communities Business Growth & Strategy Convert community and cultural connections into revenue-generating event opportunities Collaborate with internal teams to customize event packages that reflect the unique needs and traditions of each celebration Represent the brand at cultural festivals, community meetings, and milestone event showcases Program and Brand Expansion Develop co-branded initiatives, sponsorships, and outreach programs targeting youth and cultural markets Support targeted marketing campaigns focused on milestone celebrations and cultural events Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities in local and regional markets

Qualifications:

1+ year experience in community engagement, cultural event planning, youth programming, or related business development Deep understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural traditions, including quinceañeras, bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet 16s, and similar celebrations Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for community impact and growth Comfortable representing a dynamic event company in diverse cultural settings Local or regional knowledge of youth and cultural organizations is a strong plus

Compensation:
