In this role, you will be responsible for driving multi-channel campaigns that promote RIBA's benefits. The ideal candidate is a blend of a creative storyteller and an analytical project manager.
Key Responsibilities Campaign & Event Promotion:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for major association events, including the annual Rhode Island Home Show.
Editorial & Publication Management:
Coordinate and oversee layout logistics, and promotional strategies for The Rhode Island Builder magazine, the membership directory and association newsletters, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.
Budgeting & ROI Optimization:
Manage the marketing budget with an eye for cost efficiency. Track and analyze the performance of campaigns and digital initiatives to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).
Digital & Social Media Oversight:
Maintain and optimize RIBA's website, manage targeted email campaigns, and drive engagement across social media channels.
Member Communication:
Craft professional, compelling correspondence and marketing collateral that effectively communicate the value of RIBA membership to both current and prospective members.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
4-6 years of progressive experience in marketing, corporate communications, or association/event marketing.
Project Management:
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple event marketing timelines simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Communication Mastery:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging copy.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with membership management systems/CRMs, email marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot), and Google Analytics.
Design Familiarity:
Experience with graphic design tools (such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) and basic publication layout principles.
