Outreach Specialist Laguna Beach, CA Job Details Part-time $17.50 - $20.00 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Bilingual Conducting community outreach projects Immigration law Customer relationship building Multilingual Phone communication Local agency collaboration Mid-level Client relationship development Schedule management Case management Prospecting CRM system proficiency Account management Stakeholder relationship building Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description About the role Soulidarity is hiring a Local Outreach Specialist to build real‑life relationships with medical professions, immigration attorneys, community organizations, schools, and other partners so more marginalized clients can access high‑quality, equity‑centered mental health care. This is a relationship‑driven role focused on referrals, trust, and community presence, not sales scripts. What you'll do Identify and maintain a list of target immigration attorneys, law firms, community orgs, schools, and aligned professionals in our area. Reach out to attorneys and partners via email, phone, and in‑person visits to introduce our services and explore collaboration. Coordinate and attend meetings, coffee chats, and office visits to deepen relationships and understand partner needs. Help schedule and support workshops, trainings, and presentations related to immigration evaluations and mental health for immigrant and marginalized communities. Follow up consistently after meetings and events; send resources, thank‑you notes, and next‑step invitations. Track all outreach activity, contacts, and referrals in a simple CRM or spreadsheet so nothing falls through the cracks. Work closely with the founder and the marketing team so online messaging and local outreach are aligned. Represent Soulidarity's mission, values, and commitment to human rights and equity in every interaction. What success looks like A growing list of active referral partners (especially immigration attorneys) who know, trust, and regularly refer to Soulidarity. A steady increase in qualified referrals for immigration evaluations and therapy from local partners. A simple, reliable tracking system for outreach, partner status, and referral volume. Regular community events, presentations, or collaborations that visibly position Soulidarity as a trusted mental health partner. Attorneys and community partners say things like "You're our go‑to for mental health evaluations and support."
BONUS:
This role includes a competitive hourly/base rate plus a small performance bonus tied to outreach milestones (new active referral partners, successful events, and tracking quality). Bonuses are evaluated quarterly based on agreed‑upon goals, not per‑client commissions You might be a fit if you Love building relationships and are comfortable reaching out, following up, and staying in touch. Care deeply about immigrants, communities of color, and people who have been historically underserved by mental health systems. Are organized and reliable with calendars, notes, and follow‑through. Communicate clearly and professionally by email, phone, and in person. Feel at home in community spaces, law offices, and professional environments. Are comfortable working independently while staying connected to a small, passionate team. Preferred experience Experience in outreach, community engagement, account management, legal support, case management, or related roles in health, mental health, social services, or community organizations. Familiarity with immigration law environments (e.g., working with attorneys, law offices, or legal clinics) is a plus. Experience working with immigrant communities, multilingual communities, or other marginalized groups. Bilingual or multilingual skills strongly preferred based on the populations we serve.
Logistics Status:
Part‑time to start, with potential to grow based on fit and impact.
Location:
Based in/near Orange County or surrounding areas, with ability to meet in person with attorneys and community partners.
Schedule:
Some flexibility, with occasional events or meetings outside standard hours.
