As a Social Media Manager, you'll help bring Maverik's brand to life by leading the strategy, content creation, and execution of our social media presence across multiple platforms. Location/Schedule:
This position will be on-site at our Salt Lake City, UT headquarters.
Hybrid Office:
4 days in office, 1 day optional work from home. Occasional travel and evening or weekend availability may be required to support events, campaign activations, and content creation opportunities. What You'll do in this
Role :
Provide leadership to direct reports, including hiring, training, and development. Create and publish content across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Develop and execute social media strategies that support targeted KPIs, including campaign planning and execution across multiple channels. Lead the sourcing, briefing, and management of content creators for paid campaign UGC (User-Generated Content), ensuring alignment with Maverik's brand and performance goals. Build and manage influencer relationships, including outreach, contracting, content coordination, and performance tracking. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive revenue and brand awareness through paid and organic social initiatives. Proactively monitor, respond to, and engage with followers on social media while embodying Maverik's brand to grow and maintain a loyal fanbase. Serve as a subject matter expert on evolving platform algorithms, creator economy trends, and social media innovations. Conduct monthly competitive analyses, including daily content reviews of competitor pages, and share learnings and ideas with the team. Provide regular reporting on social performance, trends, and opportunities to inform strategy and support brand growth. Attend and support campaign shoots, influencer activations, and specialty events, which may require travel and occasional weekend availability. Capture and curate real-time content at events to amplify Maverik's brand presence and community engagement. You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: 4+ years of progressive experience in social media, influencer marketing, or digital content creation. 1+ years in a leadership or program supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and tools, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, Hootsuite, and creator sourcing platforms. Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management tools. Bonus points if you also bring: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Psychology, or Hospitality preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range:
$70,000-$80,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
