Through clinic-based and mobile outreach services, Renewing Hope Strategies works to reduce barriers to care and provide compassionate support to underserved populations, including youth, families, individuals experiencing homelessness, and those facing behavioral health challenges.

Mobile Mental Health Outreach Community Health Worker (CHW) Support Mental Health Awareness Events Mobile Shower Outreach Services Community Partnerships and Street Outreach Resource Navigation and Wellness Programs Youth and Family Support Initiatives Equine Therapy Program Art Initiative Programs Position Summary Renewing Hope Strategies is seeking passionate, mission-driven professionals and community leaders to serve as Volunteer Members of the Board of Directors. Board Members play a vital role in supporting the organization's mission, strategic direction, fundraising efforts, community engagement, governance, and long-term sustainability. The ideal candidate is committed to improving community mental health access and strengthening outreach efforts within underserved communities. Key Responsibilities Board Members may assist with the following: Governance & Leadership Support the mission, vision, and values of Renewing Hope Strategies Participate in strategic planning and organizational development Attend and actively participate in board meetings Assist in establishing policies, goals, and organizational priorities Promote ethical and compliant nonprofit operations Community Engagement Serve as an ambassador for the organization within the community Build relationships with community leaders, businesses, healthcare organizations, and potential partners Support awareness campaigns, outreach events, and fundraising activities Advocate for behavioral health access and community wellness initiatives Financial & Fundraising Support Assist with fundraising campaigns, sponsorship outreach, and donor engagement Help identify grant opportunities and community resources Support financial sustainability efforts Review organizational financial reports and budget planning as appropriate Program Support Provide guidance and support regarding program growth and community impact Offer professional expertise and recommendations Assist with outreach and collaboration opportunities Preferred Qualifications The organization welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and professional experiences. Preferred qualifications may include:
