Seniors Helping Seniors® Mid Carolina Community Relations & Business Development Manager (Part-Time) Position Summary Seniors Helping Seniors® Mid Carolina is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Community Relations & Business Development Manager to expand our presence throughout York, Lancaster, and Chester Counties, South Carolina. This position is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with senior referral partners, increasing community awareness, creating educational opportunities, partnering with organizations to host events, and generating new recurring clients through trusted community relationships. This is not a traditional sales position. The ideal candidate enjoys networking, educating others, solving problems, creating strategic partnerships, and becoming a trusted community resource for professionals serving seniors and their families. Success in this role is measured by the strength of relationships developed, meaningful community engagement, CRM utilization, achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and generation of recurring client revenue. Essential Job Functions Community Relationship Development Develop and nurture relationships with senior referral partners throughout York, Lancaster, and Chester Counties. Build trusted relationships by educating referral partners, solving problems, connecting them with resources, and helping them achieve better outcomes for seniors and families. Conduct scheduled in-person visits with referral partners. Maintain consistent follow-up communication through calls, emails, appreciation touches, and educational outreach. Represent Seniors Helping Seniors Mid Carolina as a trusted community resource within the communities we serve. Community Outreach & Event Development Plan, coordinate, and host educational events for seniors, families, and professionals. Partner with community organizations to co-host educational programs and networking opportunities. Coordinate lunch-and-learn presentations, workshops, support groups, and educational seminars. Represent the agency at networking events, health fairs, senior expos, and community functions. Identify opportunities to collaborate with referral partners on joint educational programming and community initiatives that increase visibility for both organizations. Assist with maintaining the agency's annual community outreach calendar. Business Development Increase awareness of Seniors Helping Seniors Mid Carolina throughout the community. Develop strategic partnerships that generate recurring client referrals. Identify opportunities for agency growth within the community. Collaborate with the Agency Director on strategic marketing initiatives. Support activities that strengthen the agency's reputation and visibility throughout the service area. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain complete, accurate, and timely CRM documentation for all marketing activities. Document referral partner visits, follow-up contacts, referrals, opportunities, and event participation within 24 hours. Learn, become proficient in, and effectively utilize the agency's CRM technology. Become the agency expert in CRM marketing and referral management functions. Schedule follow-up activities and maintain referral partner pipelines within the CRM. Maintain marketing materials and promotional inventory as assigned. Assist with agency social media and community engagement initiatives as requested. Maintain documentation necessary to support referral attribution and commission eligibility. Qualifications Required Previous experience in marketing, community relations, networking, business development, healthcare marketing, or senior services preferred. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance. Willingness to travel throughout York, Lancaster, and Chester Counties. Comfortable presenting to groups and speaking with healthcare professionals. Employment Expectations Must be willing to work toward established weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Accurate and timely CRM documentation is a condition of employment. Must learn and become proficient in the agency's CRM technology. Effective CRM utilization is an essential function of this position and a requirement for continued employment. Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining current CRM records, documenting marketing activity, and consistently working toward established KPI expectations. Weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Complete 6-10 in-person referral partner visits Complete 6-10 referral partner follow-up contacts Introduce the agency to 1-2 new prospective referral partners Participate in one networking event, health fair, educational program, or community outreach opportunity (as available) Maintain 100% CRM documentation for all marketing activities by the end of each work week. Assist with planning future educational events and community partnerships. Monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Complete 24-40 in-person referral partner visits Complete 24-40 referral partner follow-up contacts Develop 8-12 new qualified referral partners Participate in at least four networking or community outreach events Host or assist with one educational event, presentation, or community seminar Generate 8-12 qualified referral opportunities Generate an average of 24-48 new recurring client starts annually attributable to marketing efforts. Maintain 100% CRM documentation for all marketing activity and referral attribution. Schedule and Compensation Part-Time Maximum 20 hours per week Flexible weekday schedule Occasional evening or weekend events as needed Base Compensation $18.00 per hour Maximum 20 hours per week Gas Stipend - $200 monthly gas stipend Performance-Based Commission The Community Relations & Business Development Manager will earn $1.00 for every completed and billed client service hour, up to the first 250 completed service hours for each new client they directly originate. There is no cap on the number of eligible new clients that may generate commission compensation. High-performing Community Relations & Business Development Managers who consistently develop referral relationships and generate recurring clients have the opportunity to significantly increase their annual earnings through the agency's performance-based commission program.
