Job TitleStrategic Communication and Marketing, Project Manager II Agency Texas A&M University Department Bush School Of Government And Public Service Proposed Minimum SalaryCommensurate Job LocationCollege Station, Texas Job TypeStaff Job Description A Glimpse of the Job As the Strategic Communication and Marketing, Project Manager II you will play a key role in shaping how The Bush School communicates both internally and externally. This position leads the development and management of communication and marketing projects, from crafting and refining written and media content to coordinating the creation of marketing materials and overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. This is a dynamic role for a candidate who excels at managing complex projects, ensuring quality and consistency, and turning strategic ideas into clear, effective communication. What You Need to

Other Requirements and Factors:
This position will include some evening, weekend, and holiday work. Opportunities to Contribute Strategic Communication and Marketing Management Advise leadership on communication strategies. Evaluate and improve communication strategies. Produce and review written and media materials. Develop and implement a marketing plan. Oversee publications and event graphics. Manage project portfolios and marketing materials. Marketing and Media Collaboration Collaborate with creative teams on marketing materials. Lead team meetings to meet deadlines. Create digital and social media content. Oversee website management. Promote Bush School opportunities with Texas A&M MarCom. Management and Supervision Monitor departmental budget. Coordinate project resources. Manage departmental resources and marketing materials. Train and supervise project teams. Compliance Ensure compliance with university requirements. Manage project quality and marketing materials. Other Duties Support leadership priorities as needed.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of related experience. A well-qualified candidate will also possess: Strategic communications and/or Public Affairs experience in higher education, government organizations, public private sector and/or non-profits Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex information under tight deadlines. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of websites, social media, and print media applications. Strong customer relations, problem solving, and management/supervisory skills.
