Banking, Insurance, Financial Services Description The Community Development Manager for Collin County is responsible for driving membership growth, increasing brand awareness, and building strong community and retail partnerships. This role blends outreach, sales, and relationship management to support the successful launch and ongoing performance of in-store credit union financial centers located within grocery store partner locations across Plano, Frisco, and North Frisco. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic in-store outreach initiatives to increase foot traffic, generate leads, and grow new memberships. Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery store leadership and staff to enhance branch visibility and foster ongoing collaboration. Establish and expand partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and networking groups to extend the credit union's presence in the community. Represent the credit union at community events, school programs, and business networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and engagement. Manage and maintain consistent follow-up processes to effectively convert leads into long-term member relationships. Provide branch support as needed, including assisting members at in-store locations to ensure a high-quality service experience Qualifications & Experience Education & Background Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, retail banking, sales, community relations, or a related field. Relationship Management & Business Development Proven ability to build, develop, and sustain strong relationships with external partners, community organizations, and business leaders. Demonstrated success in generating new business, increasing customer/member acquisition, and expanding market presence. Experience working within or alongside retail environments (e.g., in-store partnerships, or high-traffic consumer settings) strongly preferred. Sales & Member Engagement Strong consultative sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals. Ability to proactively generate leads, effectively follow up, and convert prospects into long-term relationships. Skilled in delivering exceptional service while identifying opportunities to deepen member relationships. Community Presence & Brand Representation Experience representing an organization at community events, networking functions, and public engagements. Strong ability to serve as a brand ambassador, enhancing visibility and reputation within targeted markets. Communication & Interpersonal Skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, relationship-first approach.
