About the Department and/or College University Career Center, our mission is to promote the success of Texas Tech students and alumni through face-to-face and virtual methods. We serve the Red Raider community through individual appointments as well as presentations, career fairs, employer info sessions, etiquette events and our Career Closet. Major/Essential Functions Oversee all aspects of Marketing and Communication for individual career development programs and employer programs. Research and implement strategies on content creation, social media and other digital forms of outreach to students, employers and alumni. Coordinate marketing design and social media efforts to promote the University Career Center Promote Career Center's services across campus using selected media channels Build and maintain relationships with various vendors, and print and digital service providers Review and approve content created for various external media outlets i.e., The Daily Toreador, The Texas Techan magazine, etc. Serve on selected TTU committees to increase departmental awareness of new and viable marketing trends Lead cross functional internal teams in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for media blitzes, perennial, and ad hoc programs. Analyze and report marketing campaign performances and feedback Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge Knowledge of marketing, communications, branding, and public relations principles and best practices. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, and audience engagement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with two years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal six years. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Communication Studies, Creative Media Industries, Media Strategies, Public Relations & Strategic Communication Management, and Marketing.
