Are you an experienced social media manager with a knack for creating engaging, on-trend content? Local Culture, the in-house marketing agency for SA Current is hiring a freelance social media manager! We work with clients across industries like hospitality, tourism, retail, and food and beverage and more! We're looking for professionals with 3+ years of experience who know social media inside and out, can film Reels, collaborate with photographers and models, and build content that drives results. Our company offers dynamic and strategic marketing solutions, from social media marketing to advertising on our owned and operated media platforms, to website design, programmatic advertising, streaming TV, and much more.​Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies:
Create and implement comprehensive social media plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Content Creation and Curation:
Generate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
Social Media Management:
Monitor and manage all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
Audience Engagement:
Foster and grow the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, and actively engaging with followers.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track key performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts. Adjust strategies as needed to improve performance.
Trend Monitoring:
Stay updated on industry trends, social media trends, and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly and identify opportunities for growth.
Social Media Calendar Management:
Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule and align with marketing initiatives and events.
Stay Compliant:
Ensure that all social media activities adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines, including copyright and data privacy laws.
Social Media Policy Enforcement:
Ensure that employees and team members adhere to the company's social media guidelines and policies.
Audience Research:
Conduct research to understand the target audience, their preferences, and behavior to tailor content and strategies accordingly. Stay Updated on
Platform Changes:
Keep abreast of updates and algorithm changes on social media platforms and adjust strategies to maximize organic reach and engagement.
Innovation:
Collaborate on fresh ideas like giveaways, cross-team content projects, and culturally relevant trends.
Team Collaboration:
Work independently and with teams to meet monthly KPIs and deliver project goals.
Audience Research:
Understand audience behavior to tailor content and strategies effectively.
Customer Support:
Assist account reps by addressing online inquiries promptly.
