Job Description

Community Relations Director The Community Relations Director is responsible for managing inquiries, admissions, and community outreach efforts for our skilled nursing and senior living facility. This position serves as the primary contact for prospective residents, families, hospitals, and referral sources while supporting occupancy goals through relationship-building and effective marketing initiatives. Qualifications Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, healthcare, or rehabilitation preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and build professional relationships with referral sources and community partners. Basic computer proficiency, including email and data management. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Social Work or related field preferred. Essential Duties Respond to inquiries from hospitals, families, and referral sources. Conduct facility tours and resident assessments. Coordinate and manage the admission process from inquiry through move-in. Maintain accurate census, bed availability, and referral information. Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and community organizations. Conduct community outreach and marketing activities to increase referrals and occupancy. Track inquiries, admissions, and marketing efforts and prepare required reports. Collaborate with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth resident admissions and transitions. Assist with the development of marketing materials, events, and community education programs. Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and applicable regulations related to admissions. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to travel within the local community for marketing and networking activities. Ability to attend meetings, presentations, and community events. May be required to work occasional evenings or weekends to support admissions and marketing activities. Why Join Us?
