Investor Relations Associate -
Arlington, VA Overview:
A well-established alternative investment manager is seeking a junior Investor Relations Associate to join its growing team. This is a highly execution-focused role working closely with both Investor Relations and Business Development, supporting fundraising efforts and ongoing investor communication across multiple funds. This position is ideal for someone 1-2 years of experience who is looking to gain hands-on exposure to investor relations while working directly with senior team members. The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for: Manage the investor inbox and serve as a first point of contact for inbound investor requests Support the Business Development team on fundraising efforts and prospective investor outreach Assist in preparing and distributing investor materials, including fund decks, quarterly updates, and other communications Help coordinate investor webinars, calls, and meetings with both prospective and existing clients Ensure all investor materials are current, accurate, and consistently maintained Support ongoing communication with existing investors across multiple funds Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of investor information Assist with general IR operations and administrative processes to support a high-volume workflow The Investor Relations Associate should have: 1-2 years of professional experience Background in finance, accounting, private equity, investments or a related field Exposure to asset management, private equity, credit, or wealth management is a plus (but not required) Strong communication skills and a client-service-oriented mindset High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Comfortable in a repetitive, execution-driven role with high volume of requests Ability to work in-office and collaborate closely with a team
