Job Description

Job Summary:
This is a sales and marketing-focused position responsible for creating a positive, friendly, and welcoming experience for members, prospective members, and guests. This role requires superior customer service, lead generation and nurturing, community engagement, and marketing support to grow and foster a supportive Pentagon MMA community.
Job Duties:
Customer Service & Program Sales Provide the highest level of customer service in accordance with company policies and standards. Handle front desk responsibilities, including greeting students, guests, and prospects, answering phone calls and text messages, using and maintaining the membership system and data, checking in students, addressing student inquiries, signing up new students, and updating accounts. Track and manage prospective students from initial contact to program signup, including conducting facility tours, scheduling trial classes, and following up via phone, email, or text. Build strong relationships with students, parents, and families, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Assist the after-school program and camp staff as needed. Marketing, Social Media & Community Engagement Manage social media content creation, including posting on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business. Manage communications with members, including newsletter creation, email campaigns, and text communications to keep students and prospects engaged. Plan, prepare, and execute events activities that promote community involvement and program awareness, such as belt tests/promotions, seminars, and community outreach initiatives. Promote the school at local fairs, expos, and other marketing opportunities to attract new students. Develop and implement creative marketing ideas, strategies, and initiatives to enhance engagement, recruit new students, and grow the Pentagon MMA brand. Facility & Program Support Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility at all times. Represent the school professionally and ensure a positive experience for all members and guests. Generally provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the school. Assist with inventory management and count. Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
Outgoing, positive, and friendly personality —must be able to engage with people of all backgrounds and ages. Open-minded, adaptable, and willing to learn, follow, and lead as needed. Two years of proven experience in a sales-oriented role OR any equivalent combination of training and experience. Strong public speaking and communication skills with the ability to connect with and motivate members. Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail and organization. Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, and social media platforms. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of instructors and staff. Experience working with children preferred. High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred. Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus. Current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification (or must obtain within 30 days of employment). Must be authorized to work in the US .
Job Type:
