This role is essential in fostering relationships, promoting programs, and ensuring effective communication between various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement and possess a diverse skill set that includes public health, social work, and program development. Duties The Community Liaison will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing c Key responsibilities include: Represent The Right Choice Senior Services at community events, health fairs, senior expos, and networking meetings. Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, case managers, social workers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Identify new referral sources and outreach opportunities. Promote the agency's services and educate the community about available programs (Medicaid Waiver, LTC, Workers' Comp, Private Pay, etc.). Schedule and conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and meetings with potential partners. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth intake and onboarding of new clients. Track and report referral activity, follow-ups, and outreach efforts using CRM or tracking tools. Assist with marketing materials, social media content, and local advertising initiatives. Support caregiver recruitment efforts by representing the agency at career and job fairs. Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure client and referral source satisfaction. Developing and implementing community programs that address local needs Managing volunteer efforts, including recruitment, training, and supervision Engaging in public speaking to promote programs and initiatives within the community Collecting and analyzing data to assess program effectiveness and community needs Utilizing social media platforms for outreach and engagement purposes Collaborating with local organizations to enhance partnerships and fundraising efforts Providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations of community initiatives Leading workshops or educational sessions related to addiction counseling, public health, or social work Experience Candidates should possess a blend of experience that demonstrates their capability in the following areas: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in healthcare, marketing, or related field preferred). Previous experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, or business development (preferred in home care or healthcare industry). Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of local healthcare market and senior services in Alabama (especially Birmingham and Montgomery). Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Volunteer management and supervising experience within community-focused organizations Proficiency in public speaking and program development to effectively communicate with diverse audiences Strong project management skills with an ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously Experience in marketing strategies to promote community programs effectively Background in data collection methods for evaluating program success Familiarity with addiction counseling principles and public health practices is preferred Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff and volunteers Administrative experience that supports organizational efficiency and effectiveness Skills in recruiting volunteers or participants for various programs We invite passionate individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in the community to apply for this rewarding position.Job Type:
