https://myfirst.tech We're looking for a Public Relations & Brand Content Specialist who can pitch our story to the world and produce content that makes families smile. This role blends media relations with brand content production, ensuring myFirst and myFirst Circle are featured in the right places — and telling our story in ways that inspire parents, kids, and educators. Key Responsibilities 1. Media Outreach & PR Content Placement (External Focus) Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, podcasters, and media outlets in parenting, lifestyle, and tech. Pitch story ideas, product news, founder interviews, and thought leadership to secure coverage. Coordinate guest posts, product reviews, and expert features on external channels (web, print, podcasts, TV). Track and report on earned media coverage and PR performance. 2. Brand Content Strategy & Production (Internal Focus) Develop and refine brand messages for both hardware products and myFirst Circle. Plan and produce content for our owned channels (website blog, Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.). Write scripts, blog posts, and storyboards — and coordinate with external creators (videographers, writers, influencers) to produce high-quality content. Ensure all content is consistent with brand tone, visually appealing, and engaging for both parents and kids. 3. Cross-Channel Storytelling Create campaigns that connect PR wins with our own content marketing — turning media coverage into shareable social and blog content. Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized, engaging posts for social platforms. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field. 3+ years experience in public relations, media outreach, or brand content creation (consumer electronics, kids, lifestyle, or tech industry preferred). Proven ability to pitch stories and secure placements in relevant media. Strong writing and storytelling skills in English; comfortable creating scripts, blog posts, and social content. Experience managing content production with external agencies, freelancers, or influencers. Creative, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
