Job Description

Are you a sharp, highly organized communications professional with a passion for digital storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the collaborative drive to keep a global corporate intranet running smoothly? As Cerebral Staffing , we are looking for a dedicated Internal Communications Specialist to join our team supporting our client, John Deere , at their world headquarters in Moline, IL . If you excel at coordinating fast-paced project workflows, publishing dynamic digital content, and maintaining top-tier quality standards across internal channels, we want to hear from you. Communications Specialist - Internal Communications This is a highly collaborative, long-term 2+ year contract opportunity paying up to $28/hr , including 1 week of PTO . Operating fully onsite, you will plug directly into the global internal communications team to assist with the planning, coordination, execution, and publishing of critical corporate messaging and digital content to employee networks worldwide.

Up to $28/hr (W2).
Location:
100% Onsite in Moline, IL.
Duration:
2+ Years.
Shift:
1st Shift.
Benefits:

Core Responsibilities Content Publishing & Distribution:
Assist with the publishing, scheduling, and distribution of internal corporate content across a variety of employee channels, including the corporate intranet, targeted emails, and SharePoint sites.
Workflow & Timeline Management:
Track team deadlines, task updates, and deliverables using enterprise project management and editorial workflow tools to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Quality Assurance & Governance:
Perform meticulous proofreading, formatting, fact-checking, and approval routing to ensure all published content adheres strictly to brand guidelines and corporate governance.
Intranet Maintenance:
Actively manage and update employee intranet pages, troubleshoot minor platform needs, and participate in testing new channel capabilities or digital communication tools.
Asset Coordination & Support:
Provide light content development (writing, editing, and templated layout design), organize internal digital media archives, and support data reporting and editorial planning meetings.
Required Skills & Experience Communication Mastery:
Superb verbal and written communication skills with strong baseline experience in basic copywriting, copyediting, or proofreading.
Project Coordination:
Proven history managing multiple tasks, routing approvals, and tracking content pipelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven corporate environment.
Technical Aptitude:
High proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, with specific, hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft SharePoint .
Stakeholder Collaboration:
A natural team-player mentality with the confidence to collaborate effectively with diverse global stakeholders and administrative partners.
Education Track:
A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field—or equivalent relative corporate work experience. What Makes You Stand Out Prior professional exposure to internal communications, corporate marketing, or digital storytelling campaigns. Direct experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), intranet curation, or corporate website administration. Familiarity with creative asset coordination and working within standardized design templates.
