Build Your Career at Evergreen Roadworks! As an Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting. You will assist with a variety of tasks and projects, providing support to various areas of the business. This role is designed to help you develop essential skills, such as communication, teamwork, and problem solving, while gaining insight into the industry. Assigned areas may include accounting, field operations, estimating, project management, plant and lab operations, equipment and dispatch, project accounting, marketing, human resources, or safety. Essential Functions Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Point & Teams Maintains and projects a positive attitude Multi-tasking & attention to detail Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage time and meet deadlines Ability to work with and act in utmost confidentiality with sensitive company information Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Basic mathematical skills Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills. Education Qualifications Required High School or Equivalent Bachelor's Degree - Currently enrolled in BS/BA program Skills and Abilities Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Point & Teams Maintains and projects a positive attitude Multi-tasking & attention to detail Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage time and meet deadlines Ability to work with and act in utmost confidentiality with sensitive company information Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Basic mathematical skills Licenses and Certifications Valid Driver's License is required Working Conditions/Physical Demands Indoor conditions that include standard office equipment such as computers, photocopier, phone, filing cabinets, fax machines, cubicles Outdoor conditions at highway construction job sites, which includes exposure to inclement weather, moving traffic, noise, fumes, mechanical and heavy equipment Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer About Evergreen Roadworks Evergreen Roadworks provides a wide-ranging suite of paving solutions and proprietary applications designed to extend roadway life and enable infrastructure investments to go further.
