Facilities Shared Services Work Location Lexington, KY Salary Range $15.00 - $16.00 Type of Position Student Position Time Status Part-Time Required Education Must be a University of Kentucky student for the 2026-27 academic year. Required Related Experience N/A Required License/Registration/Certification NA Physical Requirements Standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; Sitting at computer workstation for extended periods; Repetitive motion. May be exposed to loud noises, fumes, confined spaces, and/or temperature extremes while traveling to/from and/or reviewing a job-site(s). Shift Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (10-12 hours/week) Job Summary The University of Kentucky Facilities Management (FM) communications team is seeking a student employee to assist with drafting content for internal and external audiences, create and publish stories and updates on the FM Employee Portal, assist with launching and maintaining FM social media, and assist in capturing/editing photos and video content for FM communication channels. The position will contribute to the team's overall communications strategy while gaining experience in storytelling across multiple media platforms.

Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities Strong communication and writing skills, innovative and creative, organized and able to multi-task, social media management and Adobe Creative Cloud experience a plus. Must be a University of Kentucky student for the 2026-27 academic year. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
