This is more than a communications role-it is an opportunity to shape hearts, influence culture, and give voice to truth through powerful storytelling, media engagement, and mission-centered messaging. We are looking for someone with a heart for the pro-life, pro-woman movement who is gifted in communications, storytelling, and media outreach, and who desires to make a meaningful impact. Position Overview The Communications & Strategic Outreach Coordinator plays a central role in advancing the voice and visibility of Kentucky Right to Life. This individual will lead content creation, expand media presence, and support donor communications-ensuring that every message reflects the dignity of life and the compassion at the heart of our mission. This role works closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to amplify messaging, strengthen outreach, and communicate impact with clarity and purpose. Key Responsibilities Storytelling & Content Creation Craft compelling stories that highlight the dignity of life and the impact of our work Develop content for email campaigns, social media, website, and outreach materials Capture and share real-life stories from events and community engagement Media & Digital Outreach Assist in expanding media relationships and outreach efforts Support interviews, press engagement, and public messaging Help grow and manage Kentucky Right to Life's digital presence Help expand Kentucky Right to Life's digital voice-including the "Woman to Woman" podcast-as a dynamic platform for storytelling, education, and meaningful cultural engagement Donor Communications (Support Role) Write donor appeals, thank-you letters, and impact reports Support fundraising campaigns through messaging and storytelling Help communicate mission impact to donors and stakeholders Events & Mission Promotion Support promotion of key initiatives, including women-centered outreach, educational programs, and advocacy events Help ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging before, during, and after events Messaging & Leadership Alignment This role works closely with the Executive Director and leadership to help carry and amplify the voice of Kentucky Right to Life across all communications platforms. Draft talking points, statements, and messaging for media, public appearances, podcast content, and events Ensure all external communications reflect and align with the mission, voice, and values of Kentucky Right to Life Support consistency in messaging across all platforms by collaborating with the Executive Director and leadership team in preparing public communications Qualifications Strong commitment to the pro-life, pro-woman mission Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills Experience in communications, media, marketing, or a related field Ability to communicate sensitive topics with clarity, compassion, and conviction Familiarity with social media and digital communication platforms Highly organized, creative, and able to manage multiple projects Collaborative, self-motivated, and mission-driven Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field preferred Equivalent professional experience in communications, media, storytelling, nonprofit work, or public relations will be strongly considered Experience in content creation, writing, or media production is highly valued Familiarity with advocacy, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations is a plus What We're Looking For A natural and skilled storyteller who can connect hearts and minds Someone who can reflect and carry the voice of the mission with authenticity A team member who takes initiative and thrives in a purpose-driven environment A communicator who sees not just tasks-but impact Important Note About This Role This position is focused on communications and mission outreach.
