Job Description

Location Sacred Heart Schools Description Sacred Heart Schools seeks a strategic, mission-driven Marketing & Communications Specialist to support and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications strategy across our four-school campus. This position helps advance the visibility, reputation, and enrollment of Sacred Heart Schools, Sacred Heart Academy, Sacred Heart Model School, Sacred Heart Preschool, and Sacred Heart School for the Arts, while supporting various campus activities and departmental needs. As a member of the Administrative Team, the Marketing & Communications Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and works closely with the Graphic Design and Brand Manager, Social Media Manager, and key departments across Sacred Heart Schools to deliver marketing and communications that reflect our Catholic identity and Ursuline Charism. The ideal candidate has strong creative, organizational, and time management skills and a passion for faith-based education. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Abide by the policies and guidelines contained in the SHS Human Resource Policy Manual. Participate in activities that help build a faith community on the campus. Model the Ursuline core values of Reverence, Service, Leadership, and Community in all aspects of school and personal life.
Marketing & Communications:
Support the execution of integrated marketing and communications plans that promote enrollment, fundraising, and community engagement, and advance Sacred Heart's brand identity. Assist the team in developing digital, web, and print marketing materials, communications initiatives, and storytelling opportunities, and coordinate videos, photos, and other marketing logistics for Sacred Heart Schools.
Enrollment & Athletics:
Support various enrollment and athletics marketing initiatives, material development, event promotions, and seasonal campaigns, including attending select events in the evenings and on weekends.
Social Media:
Assist with social media storytelling strategy, including photography, content creation, producing and editing videos and graphics, and attending select events in the evenings and on weekends.
Communications Technology Platforms:
Manage and execute deliverables on various communications technology platforms, from regular content updates on each school division's web pages to regular content and graphic updates on various digital display monitors around campus.
Current Trends:
Stay close to and regularly identify current, popular, and age-appropriate trends resonating with students that can be utilized in marketing and communications initiatives.
Content Creation & Management:
Develop print and digital content for various formats (emails, newsletters, etc.) and channels, including supporting crisis communications needs and alerts. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, education administration, business, or a related field. 1-3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication, copywriting, editing, and analytic skills. Strong project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and digital content tools. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Must be hands-on, flexible, and adaptable, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Active presence at school and institutional and advancement events. Working Conditions Full-Time, 12-month position. Normal business hours. Evenings and weekends as needed.
