Monday-Friday, First Shift (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Position Overview We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to support content strategy, editorial planning, and communications execution for a large, complex organization. This role is responsible for developing and managing audience-focused content across multiple communication channels, with a strong emphasis on simplifying technical information and supporting awareness of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and editor who can translate complex topics into clear, engaging content for broad audiences. This individual will work closely with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to create impactful communications that drive understanding, engagement, and adoption of organizational initiatives. Top Technical & Soft Skills Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills for non-technical audiences Experience creating content for websites, newsletters, email campaigns, digital platforms, and user-facing communications Proven ability to manage editorial calendars and coordinate content across multiple channels Hands-on experience using AI tools for content creation, editing, research, summarization, or workflow optimization Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines Strong project management, organization, and communication skills Key Responsibilities Content Strategy & Editorial Management Develop and maintain integrated content plans that support organizational goals and communication priorities Manage editorial calendars and content schedules across multiple communication channels Coordinate, edit, and publish recurring communications such as newsletters, announcements, and updates Ensure messaging is timely, consistent, audience-focused, and aligned with broader business objectives Partner with stakeholders to identify communication opportunities and recommend appropriate channels and messaging strategies Support communications related to organizational change, new technologies, products, services, and initiatives Content Creation & Optimization Create and edit content that explains technical concepts, tools, services, and best practices in accessible language Develop copy for websites, email campaigns, digital communications, print materials, presentations, and user interfaces Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance Use analytics, audience feedback, and performance data to improve content effectiveness Incorporate AI tools into content workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality Digital Communications & Channel Management Support and maintain digital communication channels, including websites, social media platforms, and other online resources Recommend and help develop visual, multimedia, and interactive content that enhances engagement Collaborate with creative teams on graphics, video, digital signage, and related assets Monitor content performance metrics and implement improvements based on results Stay informed on emerging trends in content marketing, digital communications, AI, and audience engagement Collaboration & Project Support Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to support communication needs across various projects and initiatives Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations Track project status and communication outcomes Contribute ideas that improve communication effectiveness, processes, and audience engagement Adapt to evolving business needs and changing priorities Required Qualifications Experience in communications, marketing, content strategy, editorial management, or a related field Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities Experience planning and executing content across multiple communication channels Ability to explain complex or technical concepts clearly to broad audiences Strong project management and organizational skills Experience creating digital content for web and email platforms Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing tools Demonstrated experience using AI tools within professional workflows Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience communicating technical, technology, analytics, data, software, or AI-related topics Hands-on experience using AI tools for content development, research, design, or workflow automation Familiarity with email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and performance reporting Knowledge of UX writing principles, accessibility standards, and digital best practices Experience with multimedia content, video production, or visual storytelling Personal Attributes Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term planning with daily execution Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills Open to experimentation and continuous process improvement Work Environment Hybrid work arrangement with regular in-office collaboration required.
