As a Strategic Communications Specialist on our team, you'll develop creative solutions to complex problems. You will author news articles, leadership messages, talking points, briefings, fact sheets, social media and website content. You will plan and facilitate engagements such as town halls, meetings, and demonstrations. With your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset, you will develop and implement strategic communications strategies that align to organizational priorities to enable our clients to achieve their mission. You Have:

5+ years of experience providing communications support, including news articles, leadership messages, talking points, briefings, fact sheets, and social media and website content Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of innovative strategiesto inspire and progress key strategic communications goals Knowledge of AP style Ability to work with a team and independently in a fast-paced environment Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or English

Nice If You Have:

Experience working with Department of War strategic communications or public affairs Knowledge of graphic design and creative software tools Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Possession of excellent data gathering and analysis skills Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
