JOB PURPOSE
To contribute to the mission of the Institutional Relations division by capturing and communicating our story in a timely, accurate and creative manner that will attract and recruit new students, engage and retain our current students, and deepen our affinity and loyalty among our alumni, donors and friends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Export event videos using video-editing software Upload videos to Vimeo and YouTube Add Motion Graphics to FTC Institute online content Assist with audio/visual setup for events, video shoots and photo shoots Create YouTube Shorts and help facilitate copywriting Work closely with the media team Perform other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS MUST BE CURRENT STUDENT OF MBTS OR SPURGEON COLLEGE, AND MUST QUALIFY FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM VIA FAFSA
Including, Christian with high integrity, currently pursuing a relationship with God High School diploma or the equivalent Videography or photography experience a plus, but not required Able to multi-task, analyze workload, and prioritize as necessary for the benefit of the department Able to take the initiative to complete the duties of the position without the need of direct supervision. Able to learn and utilize new skills and information to improve job performance and efficiency. Must be able to work independently, as well as a part of a team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Must show a desire and willingness to learn Must possess a positive attitude Able to pass background screening, including driving record Eligible to work in the United States
WORKING CONDITIONS
Varying shifts during office hours, including possible evening events Working primarily at a desk and occasionally around campus Generally, 13-14 hours per week, no more than 20 PHYSICIAL
REQUIREMENTS
Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time at desk or computer station Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Able lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
